The essence of coaching is to promote positive change by facilitating clarity and offering support and innovative approaches to the clients issues. The ongoing support provided by the coach promotes continued motivation and progress, enhancing the rate and ease of personal transformation.
Clearing and rebalancing the body's energy systems and the field allows for deep healing and change to occur. All physical and emotional trauma is stored in the energy field and removing these blocks allows for new choices to be made that are more in alignment with the present and what you would like your current choices to be. Energy Healing also greatly speeds the physical healing process. Energy healing is usually a critical part of all the other modalities used.
Cranial Sacral Therapy
Cranial Sacral Therapy is a very light, gentle touch form of bodywork that focuses on releasing restrictions in the areas of the cranial and facial bones, spinal column, sacrum, and underlying tissues. The main objective of the work is to find physical or energetic restrictions in these areas, and then use specific holds to release any compressions that may exist. Restrictions in the craniosacral system are caused by stress, injury or trauma, and if not released, can cause dysfunction in many parts of the body, and at the very least limitation of movement and/or pain.
Food Coaching & Weight Loss
My approach to weight loss doesn’t look like a specific ‘diet’ plan. Instead we’ll evaluate your eating habits and your lifestyle and then determine where to make changes in order for you to get healthier and lose the weight you would like to. For most people, making small changes at a time is the most manageable way to go about it. I take into account your food preferences, food sensitivities, and daily routine. Then I’ll help you design a food and movement plan based on those things.
My approach is not an instant pill for weight loss, but with a few food and other lifestyle changes you will be happier, healthier and lose weight.
Integrative Field Therapy
This body of work was created by Tana in order to address different aspects of the body's needs during a session, and creates harmony, equilibrium, and change at the deepest level. IFT encompasses touch therapy and energy healing involving the body and both the chakras and the layers of the field; in order to facilitate communication, balance, and healing between all parts of the being. Modalities may vary or change, depending on each person's responses and needs during the session or over time. IFT also includes manual and educational stretching and the importance of ergonomics instruction. Sessions may include laser therapy or Colorpuncture applied to a particular zone that requires concentrated attention because of tension, pain, or blocked Qi, or Aromatherapy and Bach Remedies to facilitate a shift or complete the integration.
Hypnosis is performed by guiding the person into a state of deep relaxation with narrowed concentration, and focused on appropriate suggestions made by the therapist. As the body is released from conscious control during the relaxed trance-like state of hypnosis, breathing becomes slower and deeper, the pulse rate drops and the metabolic rate falls. Similar changes along nervous pathways and hormonal channels enable the sensation of pain to become less acute, and the awareness of unpleasant symptoms, such as nausea or indigestion, to be alleviated.
The therapist is there to facilitate the hypnotherapy experience and is able to suggest ideas, concepts and lifestyle adaptations to the patient, while the patient is in a calm and more receptive state. Hypnotherapy aims to re-program patterns of behavior within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
NLP explores the relationships between how we think (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic) and our patterns of behavior and emotion (programs). By studying and learning the interaction of these relationships people can effectively transform the way they traditionally think and act, adopting new, far more successful models of human performance. In effect, NLP is a powerful change management tool that transforms the way people think and act in order to create impact both professionally and personally.
Aromatherapy is the art and science of healing with essential oils, which have been extracted from various parts of the plant, including the leaves, bark, roots, seeds, peel or flower. In order to be of benefit, the essential oil may be inhaled, or applied to the skin, and each of the oils (or combination thereof) can be used to produce pronounced therapeutic effects on body, mind, emotions, and spirit. The essential oils can be utilized on a specific area of the body to directly treat the condition or applied non-specifically for use as a tonic and as general support for health and prevention of disease.
Bach Flower Remedies
Bach Flower Remedies are dilutions of flower "essences" that were originally developed by Dr. Edward Bach. There are thirty-eight original Bach remedies plus the signature "Rescue Remedy", each prescribed or used in combination for certain mental and emotional states. They are similar to homeopathy, however their effect is that the "energetic signature" of the flower is transmitted to the user and affects a person's psychological state. The remedies are used primarily for emotional and spiritual conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, insomnia and stress.
